Playground Films is a collection of narrative focused, award-winning creatives — connecting with audiences through meaningful and entertaining interactions, crossing the boundaries of advertising, digital, art, music, film and television. We work on Gadigal Land.
Highlights:
With a body of work demonstrating both a poetic and photogenic sensibility, we welcome Thuy Vy into the Playground team. A highly awarded filmmaker and photographer, from both Cannes Young Directors and Adfest, Thuy is drawn to the layering of interior states, thoughts and memories.
Andrew Blackman signs with Playground. His work has screened in international film festivals, galleries, streamers, and cultural platforms, including, Amazon Prime, NOWNESS, Vimeo Staff Picks, Directors Notes, and BMVAs, to name a few. His genre-bending film Inferno, was nominated for two Cannes Lions Young Director Awards, and won the Best Documentary award at FilmQuest 2020.
Bounty / Banana win the Grand Laus for AudioVisual (“better than gold!” ) for inTENsity at the ADG Festival in Barcelona.
